Well, did a good 8 miles this morning, sprinting about 50 yards four or five times per mile and as a result put in a strong 10k time (for me). With my 10k coming next week, probably a good time to be strong doing such, right?
Anyway, it was a low week in the milage department for running this week as I just did not have the time to put in a long run so instead I focused on sprints and hills and walked away very satisfied. My Fartlek training methods are working thus far and I will continue with them through Reach the Beach come September.
