In all seriousness, this blog is a mechanism for me to use to improve my running and by extension my health. When I was younger I was a sprinter and my races involved 100 and 200 meters. Life stepped in over the past 20 years and I got away from running. This past 9 months though, I have made an effort to run and get in shape. Focus initially was to become a better teammate for Team Guzman as we run the Reach the Beach Relay this upcoming September. It has not evolved into a personal challenge for me to become a very good half marathon runner (ok, let's say decent one) with my goal of doing a half at 1hr and 30 minutes. Since I did yesterday's half in Portand, ME in 2 hours and 1 minute, I have a ways to go!
