Where to Run?

The definition of a "conundrum" is this: "A confusing and difficult problem or question." Tonight, as I watch the series finale of "Baxtrom" I have a true conundrum on my hands - tomorrow I don't really know where to run!

Now for most people who have been running all over for years, this probably happens all the time but for me, I always find a path to run that excites me so it has not happened! Each time I venture out, the idea of running 5+ miles never crosses my mind as ever being much of a challenge. It is a time to think and open up the mind to the sites and sounds around me. It is an hour worth the time of reflection and creates balance in my life. Over the last 8 months, not knowing where to run has not happened!

But tonight I am stuck! I don't know if I want to do some hill training or running along the river. Do I hit the farm and do some good trailing running or do I swing through the center of Amesbury and perhaps stop at the new Restuarant the "Noshery" for a cup of joe. Both are appealing ideas but I am left thinking, "I have already run these routes...several times!" Is there a route out there tomorrow that I want to run and enjoy?

So let's examine the reasons I want to run tomorrow? Well it is supposed to only be 65 degrees in the morning with sun so it is supposed to be great weather. Also, since running the world began for me in November of last year, I have trimmed 33lbs off my waste line and my goal of losing another 22lbs remains on the table. Lastly for my kids I need to continue to run to keep the joints moving so psoriatic arthritis does not take me down!

So the reasons make sense so what is next? Go out and run! Wherever the wind blows me is where I will run!

Now and forever.
